Our Story · మా కథ
From regional kitchens to the global table.
Masala Home takes the food of Andhra and Telugu country to kitchens far beyond it. Every masala is farm-sourced from growers we know and naturally blended, so a dish tastes the way it should wherever it is cooked.
A whole vocabulary of flavour
Andhra and Telugu country has a whole vocabulary of flavour that most of the world has never tasted kodi kura thick with chilli, podis eaten with hot rice and ghee, pickles sharp enough to wake you up, and kumkuma bright enough for a festival morning.
Masala Home takes that vocabulary out of the region. We make masalas that widen the flavour palette of a kitchen, wherever that kitchen happens to be a home in Mandapeta or a table in another country.

How it began
Masala Home began the way most good food does in a home kitchen, with recipes passed down through the family. The powders were sun-dried, stone-ground and blended by hand, the way mothers in Andhra Pradesh have always made them.
As word spread, so did the demand. Sri Vishnu Foods was born to bring that same homely taste to every household, without ever cutting corners on ingredients or care.

Farmers and sourcing
Farm-sourced, not anonymous.
We know our growers
Chilli, turmeric, coriander and cumin are bought directly from farmers we have worked with, in and around the Godavari belt.
Quality is chosen, not hoped for
Every lot is checked for colour, aroma, moisture and cleanliness before it enters the grinding room.
Respect for the crop
We buy on quality and keep relationships long term, so the growers we rely on can plan their season.
The blending craft
A masala is not a list of spices. It is a ratio, and the ratio is what a family carried for years.
The raw material is cleaned and sorted by hand, ground fresh, and blended to the recipe never to a shortcut. Nothing is added that the dish does not need: no artificial colour, no artificial ingredients, no chemical preservatives.
Our facility & process
At our Mandapeta unit, every spice is cleaned, graded, ground and packed using complete machine processing and advanced technology. This protects flavour and aroma, and keeps every pack hygienic and consistent.
- Carefully sourced, fresh ingredients
- Naturally blended, never chemically treated
- Hygienic machine packing for a longer shelf life

The thatched house in our logo
The roof over the house stands for the kitchen this work came from: a thatched home where masala was ground by hand and recipes were passed on by word of mouth.
It is also a promise about how we work. Cook at home, feed people well, and do not cut corners on what goes into the pack.
